Beautifully written, Sue! And inspired by Nature, no doubt. :) I think we often forget (I know I do) that we are Nature, too. And when we truly immerse ourselves, rather than see ourselves as separate, we start to understand that. Like you, I have been blessed these past almost four years to meld into Nature in the most beautiful way. Thx for the nurturing reminders of all the ways we can do this. This morning a Woodpecker woke me out of a sound sleep while pecking on my roof! My bedroom is an upstairs loft. :)

So happy to have found a kindred spirit here on Substack. 💚💚

I am thrilled, Barbara, thank you so much and for sharing your thoughts. I absolutely agree that we forget we are Nature and that Nature is an integral part of us. It's as if as soon as we take notice, engage and show our appreciation, Nature responds in the most beautiful ways. Particularly in how it makes us feel. It was lovely to come up with so many reasons why we love and adore the natural world and I love that you have had the opportunity to steep yourself in Nature these last four years, it's the best thing we can do for ourselves and it's life-chaging. I Waking up with the birds and watching the Sun go down brings us into harmony with our Circadian Rhythm and life feels good!

Nature does everything for me, for us; and I gladly take it all in. This is a kind of guilty pleasure, because I receive more than I can give. I make promises to do no harm, but I have no power to stop others from the harm that they do. Mother Nature reassures me that she understands. That she is not only gentle but powerful.

How beautiful, Perry, thank you for sharing your thoughts. Nature is a gift to us all and I love your philosophy to do no harm. That's Natural Law and our future as we are part of Nature and Mother Nature teaches us that this is so. 🌿
