Learning from the Grandfather Teachings of the Anishinaabe People which have been adopted by many First Nations, Métis, Inuit Peoples and others like us
Thank you, Sue, for sharing this beautiful wisdom! And, I cannot wait for you to read "Braiding Sweetgrass!" It is one of my all-time favorites. Both the physical book and Robin's voice on the audiobook. Turtle, Bear, Buffalo and Wolf often meet me on my journeys to the Lower World. :)💚
It was my pleasure, Barbara, I learned so much too. I am so looking forward to reading the book and even more so now, thank you. I love that you meet such beautiful animal spirits on your path, I adore Wolves who have inspired me on many occasions. I will enjoy writing a review.
Such perfect timing! I just had a family of Ravens make their nests in the tallest of the Grandmother trees in my backyard that towers a few stories above my own 2 story home …such an auspicious omen! I think I will share these beautiful teachings on a blog post for our new Community Assemblies of NJ webpage as the young parents will especially appreciate them -many thanks
Oh wow, Marcelle, what a lovely idea. I was delighted to find the Sacred Teachings as lessons on Every Living Thing, lots more to explore there. How wonderful to have a family of Ravens so close,an absolute omen. Birds and animals can teach us so much which is why I loved writing this post.
That's amazing, Solarah, I hope it helps. There's a link in the post to the Every Living Thing website offering a classroom course in the Seven Sacred Teachings. I was so pleased to find it during my Home Ed research and there's more to explore there. Thank you for sharing! Xx
Beautiful post - thank you!
My pleasure, Kathleen, and thank you too!
