This was given to me: "I am grateful to God for every moment, I am grateful to God for every moment." If I do this in the good and bad times, I find the place of serenity and peace.

Thank you so very much for this post!

The practice of gratitude can truly turn lives in a more positive direction, and has been studied!

Two randomized controlled trials found the practice of gratitude;

- increases positivity, happiness and life satisfaction, while reducing negative emotions and depression(1);

- benefits health via reduction of inflammatory responses(2) !

AND, systemic review (3) found the practice of gratitude effective in improving mental health.

To highlight just how powerful the practice of gratitude can be - a quote from a study participant ''’’Gratitude - as I go through the things that have happened to me during the day in my daily gratitude list - has started to rewrite the history of my life in this presence and I feel as if I was dragged from fire, rescued and helped to survive’’ '

Thank you again !
