Thank you, Antila. I love that you play the 'what's that tune' game with the birds. I was in the woods yesterday and a Long Tailed Tit was playing with me, adding a note or taking one away, it was so delightful. I believe the entire animal and bird kingdoms are on our side, willing us to tune in. Thank you for sharing with me, you have made my day.
Living in the Adirondack mountains, surrounded by 300,000 acres of forest, I experience the reality of which you write! Some of my favorite times have been hiking the mountain behind me, and sitting on a secluded ledge with my journal!
Wow, that's sounds wonderful to write surrounded by such beauty. I do the same here on Dartmoor in the Summer with the moors and tors stretching out before me. I love it so much. and delighted my post resonates with you.
YES!!!! Thank you for the lovely poetic way you spiral into the peace and revitalization we can find in nature! We are a system with her...she nurtures us and we must care for her too! We must not block out the sun with Solar Radiation Management!
"As you breathe gently in, imagine your body being vitalised by the fresh air; as you breathe gently out, imagine all the stresses and strains leaving you and melting away. Allow your mind roam freely so that it can process anything that needs to be worked through. A good meditative walk is like a therapy session where unhelpful thoughts can be cleared away and replaced with vital natural energy."
Thank you, Alicia, you are most welcome. I am so keen to inspire us all to experience Mother Nature in as many ways as possible. Highlighting all the different ways we can do this so that we can weave Nature into our days for all the myriad of benefits this brings. Natural daylight is so incredibly important for our wellbeing and the health of our eyes which is a lesser known advantage. I literally cannot go a day without spending time in daylight - it doesn't even have to be a sunny day - such is the power of natural light. You are so right, Solar Radiation Management should be on everyone's to do list, that's for sure!
Will do. I am an advocate of the simple life.
Wonderful, Ann, Nature is always there waiting for us to enjoy!
Thanks for the article and nature ideas. I was playing "play that tune" with a bird I couldn't see, yesterday.
