"I hope that this year we can breathe life into the spirit of giving in its true sense and think about what we can do for each other freely with love in our hearts." 👏💕
Beautiful and True, Sue. I admit to being more comfortable giving than receiving, which I'm working on. There is so much wisdom here, as in "Braiding Sweetgrass, " one of my favorite books. Thank you for the gift of your precious words. XOXO
Thank you for your kind words, Barbara, I am delighted you loved this post so much and references to Braiding Sweetgrass which is one of my favourite books too with oceans of widsom. The more we give of each other, the happier we will come to be. Sending my love to you. Xx
Thank you, Mary, from my heart. It is the perfect time to think of how we can give of ourselves to each other, and I agree, it is the truest gift we can give. Sending my love to you. Xx
Giving: providing love or other emotional support, caring.
This is the chief idea that ought to carry us throughout the year. Not only between humans, but also between humans and other species. This early morning I was reminded of the beauty and power of giving, by Henry Newton, the beautiful grey outdoor cat I have been feeding.
It is reciprocal. Henry Newton after eating comes to my doorway and rubs against me. I know he is imparting his scent on me, but he is also imparting his love and gratitude. Now this is a gift. A beautiful gift. Henry Newton gives and receives, as I do.
Thank you, Sue, for this essential reminder of what is important for all of us.
How beautiful, and I so agree, Perry. The idea of the natural world and all who are part of it being a gift to treasure is one I can wholly engage with. There are no greater gifts than giving of ourselves and caring about others. Only we can craft and shape them to share and be of benefit to others. Nature deserves our loving care no less and our relationship and connection with Mother Nature becomes a measure of how much we are willing to give in ways that benefit one and all.

Thank you, Kathleen, the perfect quote with a heartfelt message. Sending much love. Xx

Grateful for your generous reminder of what giving from the heart ♥️ means.
.
ALL of Nature is a gift of give and take.
All the things in the cosmos are together in one place.
Each thing is moved by nature’s pattern.
Signals give direction.
The whole divides in to parts. 🧬
The parts move around and in and out of each other.
Like water flowing in rivers 💦 and oceans 🌊 and changing into vapor 💨 and snow ⛄️❄️and ice 🧊.
The water flows in and out of creatures 🐿️ and plants 🌱.
Every part is circulating. 💫☄️🪐⛈️🦠🧬🌪️
By unFolding 🌱 then enFolding 🍂.
.
Everything in the universe fits 🧩 because each part belongs to ONE whole cosmic GIVE and take.
Thank you so much, it is my pleasure and I am very grateful for your beautiful words.
