Thank you, Barbara, this means the world! It is an honour to share shuch a beautiful story from Grandmother Polacca. It touched my heart and perfectly explains what it means to understand our soul connection to Mother earth. Sending much love to you. Xx

We honour the Earth and all that she sustains and nourishes, both human and non-human animal species, and it will be well for us. It has been my observation that out of millions of species that live on Earth, there is only one that fails--with some notable exceptions--to apprehend this most important of truths.

We homo sapiens need to quickly move away from an idea that our large brains make us superior. We are not, in my view and observation. A superior species would treat our Earth with care and reverance. Is this us now?

I do hope so, Perry. Thank you for your insights which I wholly agree with. I am on a mission to bring Indigenous and Mayan teachings to the fore. I am about to share insights from Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer who says transformation for humanity will come through gratitude and reciprocity - for each other, for our life on this beautiful Earth and all living things. This being the true meaning of humility which is up to us to practice from our hearts, leading the way for others to follow.

I’m just in the UK for my Mum’s funeral yesterday and we gave out packets of poppy seeds as she was a botanist and grew delphiniums and other wonderful flowers in her garden. So was lovely to see the relevant topic of your post this morning as we also talked about asking people to plant a tree for her.

My heartfelt love to you on your Mum's passing and how lovely that you honoured her by sharing poppy seeds and planting a tree in her memory. Such loving energy will for sure be a comfort to you all and to your Mum shining down on you from heaven. I have planted a Rose in my tiny garden for each of my parents, my brother who I lost last year and all my grandparents who too have left this world. I talk to them all every day and it brings me joy. Thank you for sharing your story and I am so pleased my post brought some comfort for you today. Much love. Xx
